I'm an empty nester now. :-( The baby birds left the nest this past Thursday, a little earlier than I
expected. I'm not too suprised though - they probably wanted to get away
from my noisy neighbors. (I can't wait to have a house of my own and not
have to deal with 20-something guys who are drunk and loud on the
apartment stairs at 4:30am.) Turns out I was wrong about the species too. These weren't sparrows, they
were wrens, probably "house
wrens".
