My sweetie was bored this afternoon, so he took an old harddrive that he'd
been using as a decoration (it has sector errors so it's pretty much
useless as a harddrive) and started playing around with it. He'd taken the cover off of it and put it into a clear casing so that he
could watch the heads move. Then, to get it to move a lot, he did random
seeks to write a string over and over to the harddrive: "jeff snider loves fazia rizvi" How sweet. :-)
