Geek Quilting

I've been playing around some with a set of GIFS of various quilt block
patterns in Photoshop - creating a block using "fabric" downloaded from a
web store, and then "sewing" them together into a virtual quilt to get an
idea of what stuff might look like. Here's two of 'em:
Morning Star
Patriotic Pattern - This one was an attempt to see what this pattern
would look like if I used some of the fabrics I'd recently bought. It
doesn't quite work though, since I didn't actually scan my fabrics. I just
downloaded some images that were kinda-sorta close enough. I'll probably
just go scan my actually fabrics (which are quite a bit darker and more
like old Americana) and try again.
Bearpaw - This
one was just for fun to see what it would look like with some textures and
"fabrics" downloaded from the web. I rather like this.
