Got a fascinating site in my e-mail today about the differences between the male and
female skeleton. It lead to some discussion of facial mapping
software, aging of faces (like you see for missing children) and
facial morphing. You've probably seen some example of a morph of one person's face into a
another. Ideally, you could use the data from genetically female and
male skulls you and morph a photograph of a face to more masculine or more
feminine, or from male to female and vice versa.
Actually, somebody's already done this with a few photographs. It's really
*wild* to look at.
Here's one example. And Here's
an example using a photograph of Sharon Stone. Whoa.
