Washington DC Event - "ISite"
13 September 2002, 8:34 PM

Got this in my e-mail today, and seemed very appropriate to my fusion reaction sort of theme:

The Center for Contemporary Arab Studies and Connecting Cultures are Proud to Present:

"ISite", a play by Kathryn Leila Buck. Tuesday, September 17 Intercultural Center Auditorium, Georgetown University, 7:00 PM

"A one-woman journey through culture, identity, and the worlds in between." Winner, Best Play (2000), Riant Theatre, New York City

Kathryn Leila Buck is the daughter of a Lebanese mother and American diplomat father, and grew up in Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, Canada, and Washington, D.C. before graduating from Wesleyan University. She now works as an actor/teacher for Creative Arts Team, the educational outreach program at NYU, teaching literacy and other skills through drama to young children in New York public schools.
