A Global Mind-set for Business

Got this in my e-mail today:
This article in the New York Times talks about the growing trend of
companies to seek people with a "global mind-set," as economies
become more and more "borderless," and management structures shift
from country and regional sales units to worldwide product
development and manufacturing organizations. It means being able to
navigate -- in-person, on the phone and online -- with people from
many different cultures, and within radically different management
values. It also means knowing at least two languages and having
experience living and traveling in foreign countries.
Right up my alley!
