I tried to make Spring Rolls tonight.Well... uh... at least they're edible. I think.
The prep was easy - I've got all the necessary ingrediants ready. I used
shrimp, rice noodles, lettuce, shredded carrots, and bean sprouts. Prep
actually takes a while, so it's probably worth it to do more than one at a
time.
But once those rice paper thingies are soft they're kinda like gooey cling
wrap! It's tough to get them to form a nice tightly wrapped roll without
sticking to themselves or tearing.
Ah well. Practice makes perfect I guess. They still taste good. :-)
