Lots of interesting miscellaneous items today:Checkout some new, extremely clear
solar images, taken by a Swedish observatory. This image of
the surface of the sun up close is just spectacular!
And here's a great article called The
Law of Leaky Abstractions. My favorite lines was: "The reliability
of TCP is why every exciting email from embezzling East Africans arrives
in letter-perfect condition. O joy."
Nature has an article about how ancient Olympian

This one came from my archaeology class this morning: Texas Beyond History is a
public education project of the Texas Archaeological Research
Laboratory at The University of Texas at Austin and the Texas Archaeological Society. Its purpose is to
share the results of archaeological and historical research on the cultural
heritage of Texas with the citizens of Texas and the world. In this
website you will find information on many different aspects of the
cultural legacy of Texas, a legacy spanning at least 13,500 years.
