This guide, for students, parents, and schools, reflects dozens of
years of work by experts. AAUW hopes this informative, concise, and
action-oriented resource will help you to create harassment-free
schools. Harassment-Free Hallways is the resource guide that was developed by
the sexual harassment task force following the publication of Hostile
Hallways: Bullying, Teasing, and Sexual Harassment in School (2001),
a nationally representative survey of 2,064 eighth- through
11th-graders. Harassment-Free Hallways can be downloaded from the AAUW website for free.
