Furniture Moving
27 November 2002, 1:24 PM

I am so sore today, but in a good way. I helped my Mom and Dad move furniture. We managed to make a better arrangement in one of the bedrooms and get a comfy chair in there for my mom to sit and read in.

We used some of those cheesy late-night commercial products that you slip under the furniture to help them slid around better and I have to admit I *love* these things. I asked my mom to get me some for New Years. :-)

Other than that, it's been a relaxing day. I did some reading and mom and I did a little bit of shopping. We walked at Garden Ridge Pottery until we could walk no more. We didn't really buy much, but it was fun to look around. We did get some gorgeous frames for the silk paintings she has from India. (They show old mughal-style scenes.) I got a nifty frame with a very unusual matting - it has one larger opening and twelve smaller ones lined up next to it. I think it'd be perfect to do some kind of seasons-of-the-year cross stitch.
