It's 11am.

The next door neighbor's car alarm is going off. It's loud, but horse sounding. That's not very odd actually - since the damn thing goes off if somebody sneezes. It'll beep for fully 10 minutes before it'll shut off. Of course nobody ever comes out of that building to check the car or stop the alarm. It just sticks there and loudly hacks for about ten minutes.

Oh, and the downstairs neighbors have their stereo on. They don't play their music too loud, they just have a very powerful base speaker. That means I hear something that sounds vaguely like a dull thudding headache for the better part of the day through most of my apartment.

Of course at some point today somebody else is going to wake up and start of one of the other cars in the parking lot and subsequently the car stereo, loud enough to rattle the walls in my apartment.

Did I mention too that I'm a light sleeper? No wonder I'm chronically sleep deprived. Oh yeah - I can't WAIT to move into the house away from these people.
