Obvious
28 April 2003, 9:44 AM

The agenda behind this S. Carolina abortion law is so obvious. Scare the women away by violating ALL her medical records privacy and promote Christianity:

The lawyers had also challenged a requirement that abortion providers make arrangements so clergy will be available for counseling. The clergy must be from two or three different denominations, including at least one Protestant.

That means that if you are Jewish, Muslim, Buddist, Hindu, etc., and you are seeking an abortion for any reason, you're going to be FORCED to listen to a Protestant Christian lecture/theology.

This is less an less a secular nation - one that respects all it's citizens.
