Rain!

Sweet, blessed rain!

The skies opened up for about 15 minutes this afternoon in a spectacular display of lightening, dark billowy clouds and sheets of water. We needed that so bad, but I don't think any more rain follows that brief deluge.

I had my first class of the summer today. (I'm taking Spanish for my language requirement.) It was okay. I didn't learn much yet. Most of what we learned today I already knew. (Years of living in a state with a lot of Spanish speakers, don'tcha know.) It was probably the first time teaching for the grad student teaching it. I had to focus to keep paying attention. But soon it should get a little more challenging. :-) Final exams are at the end of the month. Eek!
