Busy!

Well, it's official. Southwest Texas State University is now Texas State University-San Marcos. The Governor signed the bill yesterday. We don't officially change everything until September 1st, but I have got a frigging LOT of work to do now on our web site, and I'm sure I'm going to be going to a LOT of planning meetings from here on out. Oof.

This weekend should be nice though. Jeff and I are headed to Houston to celebrate my Dad's B-Day and a belated Father's Day. Then we're going to make the rounds to some stores: IKEA, The Great Indoors, Hong Kong Market, Phoenicia, Abdulla's bakery, Crate and Barrel. Probably in that order. :-) After that we're relaxing in Clear Lake, with a jaunt to Galveston to go fishing. I'm looking forward to a little mini-vacation. :-) I think I'll need it.
