Friday Five
17 August 2003, 11:07 AM

Okay, so my Friday Five is several days late....

  1. How much time do you spend online each day?
A lot. :-) I do web pages for a living so I tend to be online from work all day. Then I'll usually be on in the evening from home for personal stuff for an hour or two hours.

  2. What is your browser homepage set to?
    Google.

  3. Do you use any instant messaging programs? If so, which one(s)?
ICQ. But since I have co-workers on a variety of different IMs I now use something called "gAIM" to be able to connect to them all. My IM number is still on ICQ though.

  4. Where was your first webpage located?
    http://www.egr.uh.edu/~escco/
Geez, that was back in 1995 and I still remember the URL! I was one of the first handful of students who had a web page at the University of Houston. Mine sat on the Engineering department server, since I worked there in the computer lab.

  5. How long have you had your current website?
In one incarnation or another, it's been around since June or July of 1995.
