Roasted corn - a very simple but yummy treat. I don't yet have a grill
(which is the way most people/places/events actually do it) but it came
out great in the oven.Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.
Unwrap the corn but don't remove the husk. Get rid of all the con silk.
then wet the corn down a bit. You can butter and herb it at this point too
if you want, and some recipes call for a brief soak in salt water.
Fold the husk back up and tie shut with some butcher's twine (plain cotton
string.) Then let it sit in the oven for about 40 minutes. You'll get a
*wonderful* aroma and the husk will dry up and turn brown.
Unwrap, and enjoy with your pick of seasonings.
