The Pre-Socratics

In my class yesterday the professor mentioned the "pre-Socratics" -
probably the first people to try to make the world intelligible in a
philosophic, scientific way. However, they were only briefly mentioned,
and I was a little more curious. So naturally I Googled 'em. Here's some
of the more interesting stuff I found:Early Greek Philosophy -
The Presocratics from Thales to Democritus

Expect a few more posts on some of the philosophers we cover in class.
