It's been a while since I posted a recipe. This one is actually my
husband's own invention. We had last night decided on making shrimp for
tonights dinner, but since I wasn't feeling up to cooking the style of
shrimp was up to him. It was delicious! Since it was kinda made up on the spot, we don't have exact measurements,
but you can increase or decrease according to your own taste:
Wash and peel shrimp. Be sure to remove the dark "vein" along one end.
Toss the shrimp in a bowl with some kosher salt, black pepper (freshly
ground) and paprika. Add about a tablespoon of unsalted butter to a pan.
When just melted, add the shrimp and toss a bit to coat with the butter,
then cook until done. (About 4-6 minutes. The paprika should get all nice
and dark and crispy on the shrimp.)
We served it with wild rice and creme brulee for dessert.
